The fundamental need for applications and experiments in photonics, optics and spectroscopy is a flat optical table surface that minimises relative motion between the components placed on it. Active Vibration Isolation Systems
The DVIA-MO series of hybrid optical tables constitute optical tabletops with a honeycomb steel core structure supported by DVIA-M active isolators which offer superior vibration isolation performance at low-frequency (up to 90% at 2 Hz) and high stiffness and damping for the most challenging applications in photonics and spectroscopy. The tables incorporate feedback and feedforward control mechanisms and high-performance inertial sensors and actuators that detect and control vibrations in all six degrees of freedom.

Pneumatic Vibration Isolation Systems
The DVIO Series of Pneumatic Optical Tables offer passive isolation at low-frequency range with automatic levelling capabilities. They consist of pneumatic isolators designed to minimise the transmission of vibrations from the floor to the tabletop while the corrugated honeycomb steel core provides high static and dynamic rigidity.

Different combinations of table tops and supports are available for a variety of experimental requirements and space constraints in the laboratory. Our Research Grade optical tops provide the finest performance of broadband damping, suitable for high-resolution applications such as holography, nanopositioning, and ultrafast optics research. Our Scientific Grade optical tops provide standard damping and performance suitable for general applications such as Raman Spectroscopy and bio-imaging. We also have non-magnetic stainless steel tables which are cleanroom compatible for optical experiments conducted in Class 1 clean laboratories. The table tops can be combined with pneumatic or rigid supports, based on space constraints, costs and the level of vibration isolation required.
DVIO-B series of optical breadboards provide portable, rigid surfaces with maximum stiffness-to-mass ratios and broadband damping for small-scale experiments. They are available in custom planar sizes, thicknesses and geometries. Multiple tables of different geometries and configurations can also be joined to create large isolated surfaces. Overhead shelves, enclosures, clean booths, dark booths, and other optical table accessories are available to enhance optical table setups for photonics and optical experiments.

Workstation with Optical Breadboards
The DVID-H Series of optical workstations incorporate optical honeycomb core breadboards, automatic levelling system and an ergonomic workspace for small-scale optics and photonics experiments requiring stability, vibration isolation and broadband structural damping. The armrest prevents a direct interference with the isolation platform. Options for a sliding shelf and cabinet are also available for user needs. Customisation of the size and location of the breadboard is possible.
